Who are Qflow?

We help General Contractors and Developers cut waste and reduce their carbon emissions by providing them with the data driven insights they need to deliver productive, profitable, and sustainable projects. Our team combines construction experience with software engineering and cutting-edge data science to deliver real-time alerts to risks and opportunities during construction.

Qflow was founded in March 2018 by CEO Brittany Harris (award winning Civil Engineer) and CPO Jade Cohen (Environmental Scientist at Skanska on Crossrail and HS2) and is backed by leading VCs including Systemiq Capital, MMC, Bridge Investment Group and Suffolk Technologies.

Why is this role important to Qflow?

We have accomplished several significant milestones in the last 12 months, closing a highly over-subscribed Series A round and increasing revenues to exceed $1m in ARR. We have huge plans for the future, including new product launches, growing the team and international expansion.

We are expanding into North America and looking for a tenacious and committed individual to work closely with our CEO and commercial team on the charge.

What exactly are we looking for?

We are looking for a seasoned professional with experience in selling construction technology in North America. This is the first hire into our NA team, and there is significant potential to move quickly into a more senior role if you prove yourself. We are looking for a resilient and independent individual, who is willing to get their hands dirty to leverage their network, hunt down new business, close deals and collaborate with the UK team to develop our NA strategy to take this to the next level. This is a full time, fully remote position.

As Account Executive, you will be responsible for sourcing, closing and supporting new clients in NA. As our presence in the US grows, so will the team and your role will evolve with it. You have one goal above all: deliver sustainable revenue growth in North America. You will have done this before and can hit the ground running.

An exciting part of this role is the opportunity for global travel (budgets and expenses covered by Qflow), so ability for at least 25% travel across US, Canada and UK is integral. Upon becoming part of the Qflow family you will be invited to join the team in the UK for onboarding and be paired with a member of the UK team in the US to help deliver our ambitious goals. Sounds great! What are my responsibilities?

  • Hands-on selling (hunting): Identifying and reaching out to key prospects in the US, building relationships and closing deals.
  • Account Management (farming): With support from the UK team, following up with customers throughout projects to learn from their experience and ensure their success.
  • Building pipeline and establishing market credibility: Participating and presenting in conferences and industry events, giving sales presentations to a range of prospective clients, informing marketing strategy and forming partnerships etc.
  • Work with CEO and UK Business Development Team working in North America to evolve the GTM strategy for US: building out the sales playbook from ground up, helping determine pricing, set up forecasts and manage metrics reporting for the US business.

Our ideal Candidate

  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets, ideally in premium/enterprise SaaS solutions. 7-10+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience including early-stage experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in both market and like technologies: construction, sustainability and ConTech.
  • Experience using a CRM management systems (preferably Hubspot)
  • Ability to work with autonomy and independence whilst communicating effectively in a fast-paced environment with an international team, tracking key metrics and providing transparent feedback in what is and isn’t working.
  • Passion for construction, sustainability and innovation and staying updated with the latest industry trends.
