REMOTE FIRST / PRODUCT / FULL-TIME
Who are we?
At Qflow we’re on a mission to transform one of the world’s most pollutive industries: Construction. We help them cut waste and reduce their carbon emissions by providing construction and development teams with the data-driven insights they need to deliver productive, profitable, and sustainable projects. Our team combines construction experience with software engineering and cutting-edge data science to deliver real-time alerts to risks and opportunities during construction.
After successfully raising an oversubscribed Series A investment round, our technical team is now growing. We are seeking a talented Product Manager who is eager to contribute to building a sustainable future. If you are passionate about sustainability, believe that with cutting-edge technology we can address tangible issues, you value radical transparency, unstoppable tenacity and encourage collaboration and curiosity within your team, this opportunity is tailor-made for you.
Your team and your role
As we expand our product offering, we’re looking for someone to implement our product strategy and drive efforts to discover new market opportunities.
You’ll be responsible for helping plan the product roadmap alongside the CPO, Product Owner and other key stakeholders.
You’ll be working in our Core Product team, collaborating closely with the Engineering, Commercial and Data teams, and reporting to the Chief Product Officer. In a typical week you’ll be busy with the following:
- Explore new product ideas and initiatives relating to our strategy, including assessing viability, market opportunity and business cases.
- Work closely with internal teams to deliver Proofs of Concept, prototypes and MVPs, all the way through to productionised systems.
- Work with external customers and internal Product, Engineering and Commercial team members to understand priorities, analysing needs and ensuring requirements align with product roadmap and overall strategic goals.
- Analyse data, conduct user feedback sessions, and gather insights to drive product improvements and optimize user experience, working closely with the Product Owner to gather the right data and insights.
- Collaborate with our commercial and engineering teams to understand the impact of new features and projects on business processes.
- Investigate user needs and problems in alignment with our business goals and product direction, articulating this context to the wider team to help them solve opportunities.
- Collaborate with your colleagues in the Product Team to define team direction and priorities, representing those within the wider business.
- Identify and report on opportunities and risks associated with the product roadmap and strategy.
- Support commercial activities in developing the relevant value propositions to our customers, including active engagement with customer interactions.
- Research, identify and assess new market opportunities for product growth and expansion.
Your skills
- Experience working in AEC (Architecture, Engineering and Construction); great if you have already worked in a ConTech SaaS (or similar) product before!
- Passionate about building a robust, scalable product.
- Curious about industry problems and how to solve these. Ensure to ask questions and understand context before starting work on anything.
- Customer-centric mindset and a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences.
- Able to research, understand and communicate the business value of different product features and pathways.
- A clear and articulate communicator, comfortable speaking with different audiences (technical or non-technical) internally and externally, with the ability to adjust your style and level of detail appropriately.
- Results-oriented, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- You care about the impact of your work and are constantly seeking the necessary conversations to ensure that you build the right system at the right time.
- You have a growth mindset and are willing to learn and improve alongside the wider team.
Great if you have:
- Proven experience in product management, within a SaaS or software development team (especially if this is a ConTech SaaS product).
- Strong knowledge of product management methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
- In-depth knowledge of digital analytics and ability to compile and communicate OKRs effectively.
- Experience and interest in start-ups, scale-ups and entrepreneurship.
- Demonstrated track record of successfully launching and managing software products from concept to market.
