About us:

OfficeRnD has one mission: making flexible and hybrid working the norm, rather than an option.

We started building our SaaS platform back in 2015 to support the future of work. We believe that offering freedom and flexibility is the key to providing a better workspace experience. And that’s what enables us to develop products that matter - for our customers and for the world.

The company has offices in Bulgaria, USA, UK, Australia, and our teammates are the ones getting us to the top in our market niche.

So if you live and breathe technology as well, come and join us!

About the role:

As a People Partner, you will play a vital role in creating a positive employee experience globally throughout the entire employment lifecycle. You are responsible for various People functions from attraction to offboarding, ensuring that our employees have an exciting and rewarding journey with the company.

This is an 18-month maternity cover with the possibility of extension to a permanent role.

What you’ll do:

  • Ensure a smooth and consistent employee experience across the full lifecycle, including hands-on involvement in recruitment, onboarding, development, engagement, and offboarding.
  • Conduct HR orientation sessions for new hires, regular employee check-ins to support engagement, growth, and early feedback, as well as exit interviews to gather insights and support continuous improvement.
  • Act as a trusted point of contact for employees and managers, providing day-to-day support and guidance on HR matters.
  • Answer employee queries related to compensation and benefits, and support the accurate administration and maintenance of related data.
  • Actively contribute to employee engagement and culture initiatives, including team events, hackathons, celebrations, and recognition programs; support the engagement survey process and help drive the creation and follow-up of action plans.
  • Act as a reference point for internal policies and local requirements, with a solid understanding of legislative frameworks, payroll mechanics, and multi-market practices to provide credible, compliant advice to teams and managers.
  • Monitor and follow up on existing health and safety procedures in collaboration with the external provider, ensuring ongoing compliance.
  • Support the rollout and ongoing improvement of people programs and policies to enhance employee experience and operational efficiency.
  • Step in flexibly to support benefits, workplace experience, and other operational needs within the team with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Support research and benchmarking efforts related to benefits, compensation, and services to the company.

What you need to succeed:

  • Ideally, 4–5 years of hands-on HR Generalist or People Partner experience in a software or tech company.
  • Strong knowledge of the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee legislation and practices.
  • Comfortable with payroll mechanics, benefits, labor law, and general People Operations (multi-country exposure is a plus).
  • Experience using HRIS and ATS systems; confident with Google Workspace, reporting, and data-driven analysis.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and ready to take initiative beyond core responsibilities when appropriate.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility with both employees and managers.
  • Eager to collaborate within a compact, efficient, and high-impact People team.
  • Fluent in English.

What we offer in return is the opportunity to join a talented team and also enjoy:

  • Premium health insurance incl. dental.
  • 25 days off a year.
  • 1 additional day off for your birthday.
  • 3 days off for volunteering.
  • Full remuneration for your first 3 days of sick leave.
  • Flexible start and end of the working day and hybrid working mode, including a combination of remote and on-site (a minimum of 40% of the monthly working time).
  • During the onboarding period, in-office presence is required 3 days per week for smoother integration.
  • A fantastic work-hard/play-hard start-up environment - we have numerous social events and team outings.
  • Participate in various sports activities and enjoy a co-funded MultiSport card.
