Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 + Uncapped Commission

Location: Birmingham, UK (Office-Based)

Hours: Core hours 10:00 – 16:00 (Flexibility required for international time zones)

About HausBots We’re a robotics company helping manufacturers and infrastructure owners automate the dull, dirty, and dangerous jobs. We sell our wall-climbing robots to reliability engineers and ops directors at some of the world’s biggest industrial companies. We’ve found product-market fit and are now systematically scaling our go-to-market engine.

The Role We are looking for a proactive, high-energy Business Development Manager to join our team in Birmingham. You will own the relationship from the first qualification meeting all the way to the robot landing on-site. This is a consultative, technical sales role where you help engineers solve massive access and safety problems using our evolving fleet of robotics (including the HB2, HB3, and future releases).

What You’ll Do

  • Active Pipeline Development: While supported by a Lead Gen Manager, you are expected to be a "hunter." You will proactively identify new opportunities, map out "Buying Committees" at Tier-1 accounts, and open doors in new global territories.
  • Own the Sales Cycle: Lead 8–10 qualified discovery meetings per month, moving prospects through technical scoping to a close.
  • Global Commercial Activity: Represent HausBots internationally. You’ll hop on planes for technical demos, major exhibitions, and regional roadshows to engage customers in person.
  • Flexible Global Sales: Our customers are everywhere. You’ll manage your own schedule to accommodate calls with East Asia at 8 AM or the US West Coast at 8 PM.
  • Technical Discovery: Understand the messy details of a client’s facility to determine if our tech is the right fit. You’ll get hands-on with the robots and help relay market feedback to our engineering team.

You’re a Great Fit If:

  • You’ve done B2B sales before: 3–5+ years experience. A background or strong aptitude for technical sales is a significant advantage.
  • You’re a Self-Starter: You don’t wait for leads to land on a velvet cushion; you find ways to grow the business even when the inbox is quiet.
  • You’re a Global Nomad: You genuinely enjoy travel and aren’t bothered by the lack of a standard 9-5 routine.
  • Driving: A valid driving licence and a willingness to drive in foreign territories is a distinct advantage.
  • Low-Ego: We’re a small, high-trust team. We don’t do corporate BS.
