About Adeptmind

Adeptmind is an AI-powered product discovery platform transforming the way people shop online. Our technology enhances e-commerce search experiences for top retailers across the globe. We’re a tight-knit, agile team of engineers, product people, and fast-paced operators — working on the future of search and product discovery.

We’re currently in R&D on a new product with a clear path to revenue, and we’re building the team to take it there.

About the Role

We’re hiring an Automation AI Engineer to own the quality of our AI-driven products. This isn’t a traditional QA role — you’ll be testing LLMs, building automation pipelines, and working directly with models and the teams that build them. If you’ve spent time figuring out how to make AI systems fail gracefully (and then fixing the reasons why), this is your role.

You’ll sit within the DLP/QA team and work closely with engineers and product managers to ensure our most critical retailer integrations are airtight before they ship.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and maintain automated test frameworks for AI-driven products — not just checking outputs, but validating model behaviour at scale.
  • Own end-to-end automation for retailer integrations.
  • Integrate QA workflows into CI/CD pipelines so testing happens continuously, not just before release.
  • Test LLM outputs for accuracy, consistency, edge cases, and hallucinations — and build the tooling to do it systematically.
  • Use AI-assisted coding tools (Claude Code, Copilot, etc.) to write better tests, faster.
  • Document what you find, track it in JIRA, and work with the dev team to close the loop.

What We’re Looking For

Must-haves

  • 2–3 years of hands-on experience in test automation with Python, ideally for AI or ML-powered products.
  • Solid understanding of LLMs — how they work, how they fail, and how to test them meaningfully.
  • Experience building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar).
  • Comfortable with the full QA toolkit: test planning, JIRA, VS Code, and AI-assisted coding agents.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of SEO, AEO, or GEO, or experience working on search-adjacent products.
  • Familiarity with SEO tooling and how organic visibility gets measured and tested.

What Success Looks Like

First 30 days — You’re across the QA processes, you understand where the gaps are, and you’re already bringing ideas to the table. You’re helping the team ship, day to day.

First 60 days — You’ve delivered end-to-end automation for P2/P3 retailers. Tests are running in the pipeline, not just locally.

First 90 days — P0/P1 retailers are covered. You own your area of the stack, you’re proactive about what might break next, and the team trusts your coverage.

Team & Working Style

You’ll be joining a team that moves fast and cares about doing things properly — not just shipping and hoping. We use AI tools heavily in our own workflow and expect you to do the same. If you spot a problem, say so. If you see a better way to do something, propose it. We’re a small team, so your work is visible, and your impact is real.

Why Adeptmind

  • Be a core contributor to a brand-new, high-impact product.
  • Shape product and engineering decisions from the ground up.
  • Flexible work environment with a culture of autonomy and ownership.
